Membership & Administration
The core administration of the community will be undertaken by the foundation members. This body of members are those who built the community from the early stages and who contributed to draftting the foundational principles of the community that will guide its growth & development throughout the years. Those members who join after the foundation period will be able to contribute to the day to day administration of the community. All members, both foundation and community must contribute to the maintenance and growth of the community.
Foundation Member
Foundation members are those community members who have participated in the building of the community from the outset, and who have contributed to defining the structure and direction of the community. There is no sunset clause on when foundation membership will no longer be accepted, but all existing foundation members must agree to any new foundation member being accepted, so this will mean that the ability to become a foundation member will cease when all foundation members agree not to allow anymore. This membership type has special roles within the community:
- Deciding on foundational principles
- Membership approval
- Land management
Community Member
Community members are all other members who are not granted foundation membership. They may contribute to the administration of the community through committees organised around various projects and activies.
Guests
Anyone else who enters the community is considered a guest. This may be for any of the following reasons:
- Trial membership
- Tourism
- Work / business
- Special activities and events hosted by the community
- Visit existing members
